How can we help?
We usually reply within a few business days.
Tunnio is an app for managing your own VPNs, and it runs entirely on your device. It is not a VPN service and provides no servers. You bring the config for a network you run yourself (WireGuard today). Most questions are about importing a config, connecting, or something that did not behave as expected.
Contact us
The fastest way to reach us is by email. Tell us what happened, which platform and app version you are on (iPhone, Apple TV or Android), and what you expected instead. Screenshots help.
Importing a configuration
Tunnio reads standard WireGuard .conf files. You can import one in two ways:
- File picker: choose a
.confalready saved on your device (for example, in Files on iOS). - Local upload server: start the built-in upload server in the app, then open the shown address or scan the QR code from another device on the same Wi-Fi to send the file over. The transfer stays on your local network.
If a config won't import, make sure it is a valid WireGuard .conf with an [Interface] and at least one [Peer] section.
Connecting
Once imported, your tunnel appears in the list on the home screen. Tap Connect to bring it up and Disconnect to tear it down. On first connection, the system asks permission to add a VPN configuration. That is the platform's own VPN networking, not a Tunnio server.
Subscription & trial
Tunnio offers a free trial and a paid subscription (Tunnio Pro). Subscriptions are billed through your App Store or Google Play account, and you can manage or cancel them from your platform's subscription settings. For billing questions specific to Tunnio, email support@tunnio.co.
Your data
Tunnio keeps your keys and configurations on your device. We do not hold a copy on a server, so we cannot read or recover them for you. To request access to or deletion of any data associated with you, email support@tunnio.co and we will respond within one week. See our Privacy Policy for details.
